A total of 7,600 admissions have been granted in different faculties in Karachi University's morning programme for the academic year 2013. In all, 3,500 candidates have been admitted in the Bachelors/Honors programme, 2,500 in Masters, 1,200 test based departments and 400 admissions were granted in Pharm-D, informed the Director Admissions, Professor Dr Khalid Iraqi.

A university statement on Saturday said that he was updating the Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr Muhammad Qaiser, during his visit to the Admission Camp at the Silver Jubilee Gate, University of Karachi. The VC visited all the counters installed for processing admissions in different departments of the University in BS/Honors Programmes. It is pertinent to note that the university has set up an admission camp where successful candidates can approach and obtain the admission processing forms.
